Our mission
Our goal is to provide a better animal adoption experience by meeting our animals in our café. We want your new furry friend to be a lifetime commitment. Many pets are returned after adoption. Meeting healthy animals in a stress free environment enhances the ability to make a perfect match between the new pet and its owner.
Our staff
Executive Director, President, Founder Michelle Vereckey, Esq.
Michelle has been a staple on Main Street since 2004 when she started her law practice. MIchelle attended high school in Charlotte and has been a long time resident of North Carolina. She devotes her spare time to rescuing and healing the animals and finding good homes for them.
Our staff consists solely of volunteers.
